Before scheduling your promotional email, make sure to check off the following items from your list:
- Select Relevant Audiences from the list provided below.
- The Send Date of your email. Promotional Emails are sent on the first Thursday of each month.
- Email Subject Line (up to 100 characters) to grab the reader’s attention.
- Email Pre-Header: (up to 90 characters) A short summary that follows the subject line.
- Header Image: (1140x600 pixels) The first image the recipient will see.
- Book Details: The ISBN, Title, Author, and Book Description. You can add up to five books per email.
- Website/Webpage URL: This is where you will direct customers when they click on the ad. Remember to include the full URL, including the http://www or https://www. For assistance identifying the URL, see this article.
- Editorial Headline: The headline of the main body of text in your email below the book(s).
- Editorial Copy: The main body of text in your email. Since you provided a book description above, this is a great opportunity to add additional information, such as reviews, marketing copy, or anything else you want readers to know about your book.
- Footer Image: This is where you can put a final image to round out your email. While a footer image is not required, we do recommend using a strong image here as you can use this image to link to your webpage.
- Publisher Name: The name of the entity that published your book.
